Step 1: Prepare and seal the wood
Your slabs must be fully dried, flattened, and sanded. Seal the wood with a thin coat of epoxy to prevent air from escaping into your pour.

Step 2: Build a strong mould
Use melamine, sheathing tape, and clamps to ensure your mould is level and leak-proof. Any gaps will cause resin loss.

Step 3: Mix a deep-pour epoxy
